Getting Closer!!!

As the days, hours, and minutes are being counted down the traing and preparation that I have done the last year and even the last 4 years has been a big part as to why things are so easy right now!  Yes it is the Olympic games and it’s a very critical time right now, but I feel more than ready to represent our country (USA) and make my friends and family proud!!

Today was a great confidence booster!!!! You live for days like today!!!

I had a great workout today then took 6 throws and they felt on point and easy!! Thursday I will take 10-15 throws and that’s about it… An easy 45min day which is nice beings I have lots to do when I get back to the village from the track.  Friday I will lift somewhat heavy Saturday light drills and a few throws.  From here on out its rather easy clock work!  All the work has already been done so if I don’t have it by ow its kinda late!

  1. Glad things are going well. There are a lot of folks rooting and praying for you. I remember on one moonlit scout hike you looked at the moon real hard and said you felt like you could just jump up and touch it. I think you were in Jr. High. So I guess my advice is “Shoot for the Moon.”

  2. Hey Lance
I was watching 9 News this morning and recognize you from 24Hour Fitness here in Denver. Your story is inspiring. Enjoy London. I lived there for two years and my sister (currently living there) is volunteering as a London ambassador and has tickets to a few events.
    Good luck tonight!

  3. Hi Lance,

I remember you from when my son Ross competed with you when he went to Whitewater. I am very proud that you are representing our country at this year’s Olympics and hope that you throw well and medal. Good Luck!

  4. Lance,

I am so proud that someone from NBHS is representing our country in the 2012 Olympics! As part of the class of 2005, I remember looking up to you as a freshman and knowing that you would definitely be going places. Congratulations and know that everyone back home is rooting for you!!!

  5. Lance, you represent the world by continuing the Olympic History. Countries & cultures unite to compete. What an oxymoron! :) But seriously, do you not learn from your competition?
You represent the USA as a citizen, an athlete & as a member of an elite team. We have appreciation for your sacrifice to train relentlessly. We have pride in your dedication & results.
You represent New Berlin, Illinois. Never has “Go Pretzels”…gone so far. What can I add to that?
You represent countless family & friends. Their continued support hopefully has encouraged you to train, travel & triumph.
But most importantly, you — represent — yourself. Simply put. Period. Faith, perseverance & focus are your “core muscles”.
What lies beyond this journey? Only you can deliver that answer… but I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg !
Good Luck ! Go Lance….all the way !

  6. Hello,

  8. Again there are many internet marketing reviews which are scams.

While you are paying for their services, it is important to realize that
they are specialists in their field and not just paying for their services,
but also knowledge. Promoters who belligerently promote their
businesses realize this with all their might, that if they act cute and overlook the importance of
these services, their venture will go to the dogs.
